All pilots be advised that runway 17/35 in LPPT is closed for take-off and landing operations due to
work in progress. Available for taxi. Valid until March 31, 2010.
Pilots should be advised that ICAO rules specify
that callsigns should comply to the following rule:
- three initial letters (eg: AFR, TAP, BAW, IBE),
followed by
- three or fours digits (eg: AFR385, TAP1987, BAW502),
optionally followed by
- one letter to indicate a special flight (eg: TAP454C, BAW017K)
Alternatively, the pilot can use the aircraft registration such as: CS-TKO, G-BUSI, F-GZCP
Here is an example of incorrect callsigns: TP1872, IB6122, BA500
